The Dough Nguyener family revealed the sad demise of 15-year-old Gavin Le on Tuesday via a social media post.
“My family and I have had a difficult week. Our hearts have been broken. A lot of questions will never have an answer. We lost a son, a grandchild, a nephew, a cousin, a friend, and a growing team member; that is all I know,” the message stated.
On Tuesday, July 11, 2023, Dough Nguyener’s Bakery, Huey P’s Pizzeria Gretna, and Thanh Thanh Restaurant will be closed in remembrance and honour of Gavin Le.
Cause of death:
Gavin Le, 15, of Gretna, Louisiana, passed just a few days after his birthday. Gavin, a diligent and caring young man, was found dead from what appeared to be suicide.
The Crescent City Connection Bridge and Greater New Orleans Bridge, a pair of cantilever bridges over the Mississippi River in New Orleans, Louisiana, are where the unfortunately departed youngster committed suicide.

Gavin Le cherished his time spent working at the bakery. The sight of all the contented customers entering the bakery always made him grin. He enjoyed conversing and serving.
He also had a strong desire to master every facet of the bakery. He spent much time in the kitchen, watching the cooks and bakers as he tried to pick up their tricks. He loved learning something new every day since it made him happy.
