Nicole Reneah (Troyer) Pedigo, 33, of Olney, Illinois, died at her home on Monday, December 18, 2023. Nicole Troyer, the daughter of David and Deborah “Debbie” (Hancock) Troyer, was born on January 19, 1990 in Richland County, Illinois.
Nicole was a one-of-a-kind individual. She was full of life and had a big laugh to match. She was interested in two things: glitz and socializing. She made everything beautiful, from clothes to makeup to hair; the bigger, gaudier, and shinier the better. She was a photography enthusiast. When she wasn’t doing glam, she was the best friend anyone could have and always made time for everyone. Nicole is the only person who can make someone grin or laugh quickly. She always had a fantastic story to tell, and she couldn’t wait to tell it.
Nicole loved animals when she wasn’t so glamorous. Riding horses with her brothers and their families was one of her favorite pleasures. Her family meant everything to her; she was always carrying a niece or nephew around to various activities; she really loved kids.
Nicole’s life could be summarized in two terms by anyone who knew her: Lane and Kenley. Her entire life changed when she became a mother. Her adoration for glam grew, and she had her children camera-ready and in picture shoots practically every day of their lives. She was well-known for coaching their sports teams and never missed an event. They were her world, and she made sure to travel with them and take them to pleasant places where they could all make wonderful memories.
Nicole Reneah Pedigo is survived by her children, Lane and Kenley Pedigo of Olney; her father, David Troyer of Olney; her sister, Marilyn Troyer of Lebanon, TN; brothers, Chad Troyer and wife Danyelle of Hickman, TN, Rusty Troyer and wife Amanda of Olney, and Ryan Troyer and wife Michelle of Olney; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Her mother preceded her in death. Visitation will be held at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
On Friday, December 22, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., a funeral ceremony will be held at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. The service will be followed by interment at Greenhill Cemetery.
